9 Natural Hair Loss Remedy And Treatment

Hair loss (medical term: alopecia) affects around 35 million men and 21 million women in the United States. In men, baldness is often inherited and loss of hair happens because of an excess of the chemical dihydrotestosterone, or DHT. DHT causes the hair follicles to make weaker hair until they eventually stop completely. Common causes of hair loss for women are hormonal and related to pregnancy, menopause and thyroid conditions. Birth control pills and HRT (hormone replacement therapy) can also cause temporary hair loss in women. Read below if you are losing your hair. Some hair loss remedies may promote hair regrowth. We give home remedy for hair loss and thinning of hair using natural ingredients.

1. Make a paste by grinding fenugreek seeds with water. Massage on the scalp after oiling the hair and leave it for one hour before washing. Repeat it every morning for a month.

2. People deficient in B vitamins are more likely to have thinning hair, or lose their hair completely. Taking a vitamin B complex daily–particularly one containing B6 and B9 (also known as folic acid) can help preserve the hair you have and put that receding hairline on hold.

3. Mix together the jojoba, rosemary and cedarwood oils, add aloe vera gel and blend well. Store in a glass bottle and massage a tablespoon of the treatment into the scalp and leave overnight. Other essential oils beneficial for hair growth include lavender, thyme, bay and safflower. Ensure the chosen oil is massaged into the scalp for at least twenty minutes to increase the blood flow to the hair follicles and help the oil penetrate deeply.

4. It is important to always make sure that your hair is well maintained by ensuring that the hair is kept clean. Additionally, using strong chemicals like those found in hair dyes is not a good idea as it may play a key role in causing hair loss.

5. Make a hair pack by mixing amla (Indian goose berry) powder with one egg. Apply it to your hair and leave for half an hour. Wash hair.

6. Gingko biloba increases the blood flow to the brain and skin, bringing extra nutrients to the scalp that will help nourish your hair follicles.

7. Massage is also a key remedy to grow health hair by stimulating the hair follicles and can be enhanced when combined with essential oils. Natural remedies have added benefits in being easily available, simple to use and free from unwanted side effects associated with other forms of hair loss treatment.

8. Ideally it is better to drink raw cows milk, however sadly this is illegal in most developed countries and you have to resort to pasteurized and homogenized milk instead. Nonetheless, cows milk is a great source of Iodine, which is important for hair growth.

9. Vitamin E and CoEnzyme Q-10 aid in this, by increasing oxygen uptake. Also, taking a daily vitamin C supplement will help maintain blood flow to the hair follicles in your scalp, which is very important for healthy hair.
