About Hair Loss after Pregnancy?

I read over and over again about losing hair that we don't shed during pregnancy. I can't find out how soon or how long after we will notice it. Has anyone noticed it being a couple years after the baby when it starts to shed or is it right away? I had three pregnancies and never seen a hair fall but the past year I started shedding. Does everyone shed that hair at some point, I normally never seen a hair come out. I have long curly hair and I am losing alot now.
